Poetry

I write your name on my tongue

I write you name on my tongue
to remember your taste

take the words I have written
for you and wear them

like I wear your scent.
The river is flowing fast

i lay a paper boat
on which I have written

simple possibilities –
set it on the river. Watch

it float away and unfold
in the first

silver white confluence,
where the stars read

our skin and sigh like two lovers
whose love has conquered time

even for the briefest

of moments.
