I never know what I’m going to make before I begin. I respond to images that interest me and bring them together. I let them speak for themselves. I stop when the conversation between them feels complete. This is made out of 8 distinct elements. I appreciate work centered on the contradiction between the idea of home as a safe space and the reality that, for many, it was not. Architecture carries memory and interior life marked by both shelter and harm.

Christopher Leibow is a poet, visual artist and a sensei is a lay minister with Bright Dawn Way of Oneness Buddhism and is the sensei and founder of the Salt Lake Buddhist Fellowship which he has led for ten years. He has had his art and poetry published international. He lives in Salt Lake City and spends his time with his two youing boys Teague and Ronen
